No, there is not a mistake in the subject for today. I am exercising my right to be politically correct and I will let you, the readers, determine what the missing word is. I have been pondering this topic for some time now and I think it is finally time to get on my soapbox.
I am sure many of you have witnessed acts of incompetence and stupidity at some time or another. We often confuse this with people that have a lack of common sense. I have come to the conclusion that it is not a lack of common sense, but the motivation to consistently try to swindle, get over, cheat, or hustle their way out of or into a situation. I affectionately refer to this as “______ logic.”
_____ logic is the idea that your crazy ideas are actually good. _____ logic tells the individual that these ideas are actually in the best interest of all involved. By the time you come to the end of it, you look stupid and your credibility is zero.
For instance, you received a court fine for $300.00 with six months to pay it. Instead, you don’t make any payments, you would rather spend time in jail, and lose the job you have because your priorities are to “kick it” instead of handling your obligations. ______ logic! {SMH} This also applies to those that let bills pile up just for the sake of being in the “in” crowd.
I am sure some of us at some point has heard about a meth lab or freebasing. Did we ever stop to ask the “lab tech” why they dropped out of high school when they have such skills? Usually, the answer is “School just ain’t for me!” Wrong! Basically you are way ahead with your chemistry skills. Why couldn’t you put this knowledge to some good and just tough it? I know why! _____ logic!
Wow, I just thought of a good one! I was pumping gas at the gas station when I was approached by someone who felt the need to ask me for some help. They wanted me to get in a car accident with them so we could split the insurance money! WTH! _____ logic!
The funniest one is when an employee states they want more hours and wants to become a manager. Then they start complaining when they get challenging assignments and refuse to work outside of the schedule hours. “I thought I was only supposed to work 5-10 boss!” ______ logic!
We have seen this ignorant individual way to many times. They have potential and loads of talent, but would rather waste it on useless schemes. They would rather risk jail time, fines, and/or both instead of doing the right thing. How many times can you get caught driving without a license? Just go to the DMV and apply! _____ logic!
I can go on for days about this topic. Many of you who have had the pleasure of being in my company has heard me rant and rave about these very people. There are times when exceptions can be made, oh wait I am lying, there is no exception for this ignorant behavior.
So to all those hackers and identity thieves instead of sitting at home being a criminal, do something productive. Use those skills to build a computer network to help the blind, deaf, or paralyzed so they may benefit from some technological advances. Don’t be a statistic of _____ logic!
“Crack” Logic is the idea that your crazy ideas are actually good.
“Palen” Logic logic tells the individual that these ideas are actually in the best interst of all involved. By the time you come to the end of it, you look stupid and your credibility is zero.
I love it! This is absolutely correct. It explains so many things as to why people do the dumb things they do. For example, Gold digger Logic-I’m going to leave the man/woman that I know loves me for me and I love them for them just because these other man/woman has lots of money and they’ll buy me things. WTH! I could go on too, but that’s just the first one that came to my head while reading this. SMH at the insurance scheme.
